Horizontal priorities

While defining the strategy of the NSRF, it was also necessary to focus on solutions of horizontal questions, which require a special approach and attention. For this reason, four horizontal priorities were defined in the NSRF:

The purpose of each horizontal priority is to ensure the achievement of its defined target, which is related to several priorities of the NSRF. Therefore, it cannot be achieved only through one operational programme - it requires a coordinated approach across more specific priorities or projects.

All horizontal priorities are reflected in the operational programmes and centrally coordinated through sponsors of the horizontal priorities. Operational programme Technical support for the activity of horizontal priority coordinators will provide financial support within the funds allocated for the horizontal priorities within the priority axis 1 “Preparation, management, monitoring, evaluation, information and strengthening of administration capacities within the structural funds and the Cohesion fund”.
